To continue with the CT moment the entire world seems to be having right now I don’t blame you, not only is the woman herself amazing, so is every beauty product she has made I thought I would run you through the lipsticks I have. You see, my collection is starting to get pretty sizeable! Ya know how it is, you pick up one, then another and next thing you know there are five lipsticks staring back at you #Whoops To ease the pain of my spending habits I figured lets turn this into a blog post! That’s smart logic – right?!
The love affair begin a couple of years ago with Glastonberry. A matte revolution shade you get all things dark, intense and berry over here. You do need to go in with a bit of prep work before application to prevent any dry patches causing the lipstick to cling, but you can’t deny that this shade is all kinds of beautiful. Onto the reds I’ve got two additions that also live within the matte revolution lineup. For a traditional pillar box red it’s got to be the oh so classic Red Carpet Red. This was actually one of the items I got inside the Charlotte Tilbury advent calendar and boy am I glad I did as it was a regular around Christmas time. For a brighter orange toned red try 1975. Part of the Norman Parkinson Collection this gives a fresh take on a red whilst providing a powerful & rich opaque colour.
Over to the land of nudes I’ve got one more matte revolution formula that also came out in the Norman Parkinson Collection. Miss Kensington is a pinky nude with a soft warm undertone. You get a slight pearl finish that leaves lips with that frosted look. For a more moisturising formula try Bitch Perfect from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lineup. Online this looks like a muted coral with a stronger hint of pink compared to Miss Kensington. On me this can tend to go a tad murky however with a bright liner underneath I’m good to go. Finally, the super cute mini. Again from the advent calendar and also in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lineup we have Penelope Pink. This has a darker hue in comparison to the other two with more brown tones. Again you get that frosted finish, but hey, who can complain when the packaging is so freaking cute and mini!
Which are your favourite Charlotte Tilbury lippies to rock on the daily?
