I know – slightly unseasonal to be talking about a BB cream buts okay. It’s from Burberry and Burberry can be worn any time of year ;) Although I picked up this dew enhancing base back during that blissful week in Dubai, I couldn’t not share this find with you guys. You see this BB cream manages to gives a hint of coverage that simply leaves your skin looking radiant. When it says ‘fresh glow’ it really means it!
The Burberry Skin Fresh Glow BB Cream in Fair 01 comes in a tube and pump similar to the DiorSkin Nude BB Cream and promises to give a healthy youthful complexion. With a bucket full of light diffusing properties alongside moisturising extracts to keep those hydrating levels in check, it ticks all the boxes when it comes to my base requirement list. Not just that, come rain or shine your skin is left with a beaming radiant light which really enhances that youthful complexion.
Although everything I’m hinting towards is positive there are a few gripes. Colour selection over here is minimal if not poor With only three to choose from you are limited to whats available however they claim to have skin matching pigments to give a natural look no matter your tone. The formula can be a tad temperamental too. I’m a brush kinda gal so the fact this balm works better applied with hands is a tad off putting as I’d rather have the ease of going in with my tried and tested brushes.
Overall though, if you are looking for that glow from within, adore beauty balms in general or just are a fan of those luxe Burberry products, I recommend you giving this a go. More oily skinned gals might struggle with the finish however those wanting to glow all day will adore the luminosity it instantly gives. Personally I set this down with powder to get a full days wear however even with a light dusting that radiance holds on.
