Before I get into a very Halloween focused post, I need to throw a caveat out there. I don’t actually like Halloween. I know, who do I think I am throwing shade to a holiday where you can dress up and eat chocolate. The chocolate obvs I am 100% on board with but when it comes to fancy dress, costumes, masks, I am not a fan. Something about having a childhood fear of those in fancy dress means I generally avoid situations that involves such affairs. That being said, thanks to 21st Century FOMO I don’t want to miss out a shindig with my friends so for me it’s all about simple and quick Halloween looks that makes me look the part with minimal effort. Win! Luckily Accessorize have a number of great looks you can put together for a fuss free look without breaking the bank.
Stickers – not just for sticker books now for your face! Want to throw together a look but aren’t sure how to recreate certain elements or don’t want to fork out those precious pennies on the tools? Try out a sticker look! Create either a Sugar Skull Face* or intricate liner with ease thanks to the Cobweb Eye Liners*. All you need to do is pop on the stickers and you’re good to go! I recommend powering your face first to secure ultimate stick however for a fuss free look that still brings the impact these are a great alternative.
Masks – my personal favourite costume to quickly pull together is a mask. Not gonna lie, people in masks do give me the spooks but for an instant Halloween costume without the need for a full on clothing change, a mask is perfect. I think this Halloween season I will be rocking the Sugar Skull Mask* as it gives the right level of Halloween without requiring a number of different pieces or accessories.
Good Old Cat Ears – when it comes to Halloween you can’t say no to a good pair of cat ears. I’m sure we have all been a cat many a time as it’s one of the most failsafe costumes you can fall back on. Why not spice up your 2015 cat ears with these Cats Ears Pearl Alice Band* which quite frankly I want to wear all day everyday. Either pair with the sticker liner, wear alone or pop on a black nose and some paint on whiskers. Halloween – this year I’ve got you!
