It’s no surprise that the Charlotte Tilbury beauty range has taken the industry by storm. With it’s abundance of rose gold packaging, impeccable formulations and delectable shade ranges, it’s easy to see why everyone has fallen for this makeup mogul and her impressive line. I’ve already shared my love for this brand in the past, firstly with the Filmstar Bronze & Glow that gives you Hollywood worthy cheeky bones in one quick swipe, I also adore her shadow palettes and new cream pots which are simply perfection. One area where I’ve strayed was with bases. Foundations, concealers, even blushers are yet to be tried however on a recent trip to the gorgeous stand in Nordstrom The Grove I finally snapped up the Light Wonder Youth Boosting Perfection Skin Foundation.

Promising an air light formula that illuminates, smoothes whilst hydrating and masking imperfections, does it really leave you with flawless looking skin? Strong claims right! Hopes were high so the fact I’m able to report there isn’t an inch of disappointment on this face means one thing and one thing only, this is one heck of a foundation. FYI before you get stuck into the bottle it needs a seriously good shake. Without activating your guns of steal you might as well be applying water. Luckily though once you’ve passed this stage the magic happens. Completely undetectable on the skin this still manages to covers blemishes and areas of discolouration to leave everything looking youthful and perfected.

When it comes to a long working day and a hot tube this still holds its ground. It’s doesn’t disappear in the usual places and power top ups are kept to a minimum. Colour selection is good with 10 on offer, I opted for 2 fair which is a tad light whilst rocking a faux summers glow however come winter it will be a perfect match. Blended with a brush or fingers I don’t really have a bad word to say. Charlotte Tilbury you’ve done it again!
