You’ve seen it on my Instagram, it’s already featured in a favourites post, now it’s finally time to lift the lid and give the Pixi Glow Mist a full on review. The hotly anticipated followed up to the incredibly popular (and constantly out of stock) Glow Tonic, this promises a radiant and dewy effect that is dispersed onto your skin in the form of a fine mist.
First things first – the packaging in on point. That fine mist they promise you? You actually get it. So many spritzers and spray bottles lure you in with that very claim but hardly ever deliver, instead they dispense the product directly into your eye when you least expect it. Thankfully this bottle gives the most fine and soft mist that covers your face in only two pumps, I know, break through!
Next it’s down to whats inside the bottle. Enriched with 13 natural oils alongside aloe vera and fruit extracts, this is marketed as your hydration BFF. Use before makeup, to set makeup or even afterwards to remove that powery finish, it’s multipurpose ingredients list mean that you can pop some on whenever your skin is in need of a little pickup me up.
Personally I use this directly after the Glow Tonic in the mornings, working as my hydration stage this pumps up my skins moisture levels. Leaving my skin feeling fresh, dewy and ready for the day ahead, this has become a pretty quick staple in my routine. Got a flight coming up? Make sure this is in your hand luggage. Complexion looking lackluster throughout the day? Give this a spritz. Caudalie Beauty Elixir and Omorovicza Queen of Hungry Mist – you’ve got some stiff competition.
