The mop of hair on my head. Whether it’s blonde, brown, long or short, it likes to go through the occasional temper tantrum. Involving fluffy ends, greasy roots and general acts of misbehaving, the only thing that can help knock it back into shape is a good conditioning treatment or a cut and colour. Before heading back to the salon and handing over my last pay cheque, I added a couple of new haircare pieces into my routine which *touch wood* have worked wonders to restore my temperamental tresses back to a more sleek and soft natural state.
Turing to one of my new fav haircare brands, Swedish powerhouse Sachajuan have been roped in to fix the impossible with their Intensive Repair Conditioner*. If something could make my wiry locks as soft as melted butter, this would be it. After just a single use the former dry and stubborn mane was replaced by a more silky state that even remained on the second day post wash. I add this into my routine once a week to to help reverse the damage from colouring and heat styling and boy do me and my locks love it.
Although I’m all about the sleek and smooth, you gotta add a bit of grit back into those fine tresses for fear of them flying away and smacking someone in the eye. Fluffy I do not want but squeaky clean? No bueno. In order to give a bit of texture and hold back in-between the clean I reach for the Sachajuan Spray Wax*. This doesn’t retract any of the shine, instead it gives a seamless and undetectable hold to the hair. Want to scrunch up the roots for a bit of volume and lift? This will help to keep everything in place whilst staying smooth throughout the day. Sachajuan – I love you!
