Although it’s only the second week into the New Year I may have already found myself perusing around a beauty hall and dropping some dough. What can I say, I just can’t help myself ;) In need of a a new primer and contour brush I decided to throw all reasoning out the window and picked up a few ahum essentials.
Starting with the new – a primer and a brush. After my long love affair with the Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer (that is still going strong) I wanted to get something a tad more glowy and illuminating for my lackluster Winter skin. In steps the Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer. Opting for the travel sized version as these seriously last, this helps to perk up my skin during the cold Winter months.
I also splashed some serious cash on a new makeup brush from Bobbi Brown. With Selfridges offering 10% off throughout their beauty range luckily this encouraged John Lewis to follow suit enabling me to nab this beauty up for a discounted yet still pricey price. The Bobbi Brown Powder Brush is tapered in shape helping you to achieve that illusive contour. With super soft bristles allowing harsh lines to be easily blended away this is defo an investment brush that so far is well worth the pennies (and puts my RT brush to shame).
Finally a little repurchase, I say little as the brush on this is teeny weeny. The Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara is the only mascara I can use on my bottom lashes to avoid the panda look throughout the day. It’s price has bumped up over the years however the product inside has stayed just as fab. May look like an pointless purchase however being on my third bottle shows just how much love it gets.
