Look at those pink and warm photos filled with bath delights just inviting you to turn the tap and dip in to the bubbling and steaming water – how dreamy ;) Post Christmas Day you get the Boxing Day sales and post Boxing Day you still get the sales however within a slightly more bearable shopping environment. Yesterday I put this to the test and braved the mighty Westfields, same as last year I headed straight for the Lush store to see what Christmas goodies I could snap up for half price. Luckily I wasn’t left disappointed as this impressive haul came to a mere £13, now that’s what I call a bargain!
Kicking things off with the bath bombs I added Christmas Hedgehog, Drummers Drumming and Dashing Santa to my collection. Monsieur hedgehog is delectably soft and from a single touch the shea and cocoa butters melt into your skin. I couldn’t resist this bright Drummers Drumming bubble bar complete with bells and strawberry scented bubbles. They fill the tub whilst the bergamot lifts your spirits and helps to wash those troubles. Finally a citrus Santa that fizzes away to release a mandarin fragrance and subtle sparkle that lingers in the water. There were a few more festive bombs on sale however I restrained myself after spotting the gift sets…
Ah the Christmas Candy Box. With it’s bright blue bow and 60s packaging inside you get a mini bottle of Snow Fairy, Candy Mountain Bubble Bar, Butterbear Bath Bomb and Rock Star Soap. Personally I can find gift sets a bit hit and miss as there is usually that dud within the box that gets ushered to the side, however with this set I know I will use up every last piece. Now all I need is a week off work where I can indulge in a bath a day and conjure up my plans for the New Year. Perfection :)
