Christmas has come early over on A Girl and a Beauty Blog, although I’ve been harping on about decorations, festive movies and more roast dinners then it’s safe to consume over the past few weeks, the gift of giving has also reach these far pages. I blame a lunchtime excursion where I may have accidentally landed into Liberty’s and handed over my precious pennies on a counter that is impossible to resist. What can I say, the only way to get through Christmas shopping is to buy one for them and one for yourself ;)
After being the number one fan of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders I picked up my first blush this year which only confirmed my love for this brand. Pigmented colours and divine formulas that melt onto the skin, as soon as news broke of a golden palette housing three of these gorgeous items I knew it would only be a matter of time before I caved and picked one up for myself. The Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette is pure perfection and I can imagine will be on a number of wish lists this year.
Housed inside something that looks like it came straight from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you get Luminious Flash, Incandescent Electra and Mood Exposure paired with a large enchased mirror for those on the go makeup applications. This palette can only be described with a handful of heart eyes emojis as every time my eyes lay on it I pat myself on the pack for finally picking it up. Each shade is unique and gives an effortless glow on your cheeks completing that healthy and radiant complexion. In comparison to the NARS Virtual Domination Cheek Palette I find these to be more finely milled and sit softer on the skin. A real treat this is a must for any beauty or blush lover.
