My penchant for lipsticks has momentarily been placed on hold and replaced by a need to visit every homewear store within a 5 mile radius. I’ve caught the interior design bug and although my room may never be Pintrest worthy, it doesn’t stop me from wanting to buy up every pineapple designed pot or patterned candle holder that I set my eyes on. Alongside virtually everyone else I’ve taken this homewear kick straight to Tiger, the new stylish store from straight Copenhagen. Bursting with kitchen essentials, picture frames galore and trinkets for the £1 mark, it really is impossible to leave empty handed.
The buzz store on everyones lips, their colourful aisles draw you in and their bargain prices keep you coming back for more. My recent haul came to the grand total of £10 I kid you not so it’s easy to see why Tiger is taking the nation by storm. Starting with the black wooden S, it’s lightweight yet sturdy frame makes a great addition to my rather large collection of letter decorations. The black looks striking against my white Ikea furniture yet overpower the space. What’s that, an owl tea light holder, do I need to say more? I wonder if owls will become the new pineapple ;)
Although the green patterned candle is meant for outdoor use, I fell for it’s crisp green colour that stands out amongst the crowd. It’s patterned glass texture gives an element of dimension to a counter and despite it sitting shorter compared to most candles, it’s striking lime shade holds its own. Finally, a moustache tumblr. Needed? No. Bought? But of course! For healthy smoothies on the go (more like cherry coke when I’m feeling worse for wear!) this was an impulse purchase that I simply couldn’t resist.
