Do you ever experience those moments when your wallet is possessed? All purchases made during this time are unaccountable for and shouldn’t be judged. It’s not you really making those decisions, it’s your wallet…right ;) A mixture of a wallet I can only describe as having a mind of it’s own, a need to waste a bit of time in the mornings and also a want for new bits resulted in the above collective haul. As you can see I was in the mood for some Rimmel. Their range of raved about eye products were calling to me from the shelf and with a handy 3 for 2 offer being run in the process, some damage was done.
In a bid to speed up my morning makeup routine I picked up the Scandal Eyes Eye Shadow Paint in 006 Rich Russet. A liquid to powder formula you apply this directly from the applicator and blend it out with your finger or a brush. Although initially these feel very wet, it’s an ease to buff into your lid and lasts all day. To add a hint of definition I’ve been pairing this with the Glam Eyes Shadow in 030 Smokey Quartz. Granted, I did and do not need this, buuut look who has it anyway! A soft brown shade this gives a soft shape to the eye without looking harsh, it also doesn’t feel that chalky when you apply it either.
As picking up two eye products wasn’t enough, another two made their way into my basket and to the till point. Wanting to give the Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal pencils a try I snapped up 012 Bronze and 005 Nude. Soft pencils that are bendable and stay put throughout the day I’ve been wearing the bronze shade under my eye to smoke out a daytime look and the nude colour in my waterline to help make my eyes look brighter. All these items paired together give you a defined and smokey eye or individually they help to create a lovely soft and natural look.
