The wet brush – may seem like a strange concept but bare with me on this one. I first heard about this nifty little product over on Lily Pebbles blog where she raved about it’s detangling abilities. Marketed at the ‘healhy detangling’ after shower brush this claims to give you a stress free brush with no snags, clumps or tangles. Recently I have been more focused on caring for my tresses as the dry ends were driving me loopy. After getting them all snipped off it was time to put down the salt sprays, hug close the conditioning treatments and include a styling tool that was there to protect as opposed to damage.
Although the name suggests that this brush needs to be wet for use, don’t worry as it doesn’t. Instead it means that you can use it on freshly washed hair without causing any havoc. This is all down to the specially formulated IntelliFlex bristles that are thin, strong and most importantly very flexible. This ensures no split ends and no hair loss! With my fine hair I find tangles are all too common and brushing them out can be a spot of bother. This seamlessly glides through wet or dry hair whilst removing any knots.
I picked this up on Amazon as it is an American brand and slightly harder to find over in the UK. I opted for the bright pink offering, standard, and it sits price of place in my room. Having used a tangle teaser and comb to combat wet unruly hair, this does just as good a job. I don’t find it automatically flies through my tangles but is certainly doesn’t pull or snag. I have less brakes when brushing and anything that helps keep my hair on my head is a win in my books!
