Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream 10 in 1 Complete Correction
Just when you think you’ve got the whole BB and CC craze under control and sorted in your beauty mind, up pops a CC cream for your tresses, standard. From American brand Alterna Haircare which is co owned by the beautiful Katie Holmes, this Caviar Cream gives you a whopping 10 haircare benefits all wrapped up inside one single tube. A leave in product that acts as a base and prepping tool, the long list of benefits that this claims to give your hair are, hold onto your seats, shine, smoothness, softness, manageability, strength, UV protection, anti-breakage, heat protection, moisture and light hold all within a single pump. Quite the claim aye ;)
Unfortunately this is another ‘USA only’ brand however if you are looking to add another item to your Sephora shopping basket to take you over the £75 mark, this will be a good place to start. I put this onto towel dried hair and distribute around three to four pumps from root to tip and then brush through. I follow this with my styling products of choice then go to town with my hair dryer. Now I haven’t noticed any anti-breakage or frizz management from this cream, however I do find it helps to make my hair look more shiny and sleek and for the style to hold a tad longer. This also stops me from layering styling products into my hair as this takes care of the majority of things. Overall I wouldn’t say this is a must have necessity but a nice addition if you are looking for something new to add to your haircare routine.
