Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B30 Beige Sable – £32
Sometimes a girl just needs that one single foundation that acts like their best friend. It perks them up on a gloomy day, helps you to feel better and you know you can count on it no matter what. This is how I feel about the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation – dramatic, possibly, however this is the foundation I fall back on the most and it works for every makeup situation and need I have. A water based formula this foundation needs a good shake before application and to apply I’ve used a buffing brush, beauty blender and even my fingers. All options are able to blend this foundation in leaving flawless skin behind. The coverage is light and undetectable on the skin however manages to do a decent job of covering up redness and blemishes.
This is one of a handful of foundations that when I look in a mirror around 4pm at work, everything is still in place. The finish is natural, slightly dewy but nothing that demands a face full of powder to leave less of shine. There is an SPF of 15 packed away inside but I’ve never incurred serious flashback when wearing it. Although this is fairly pricey sitting at £32 I think it is worth every penny. My love shows from the fact I am getting close to the bottom of this bottle and I know I will repurchase it instantly. For Summer or Winter this foundation works a dream and is one of my top all time fav bases.
