With that Autumnal wind starting to gust through the UK, Summer is becoming a blissful memory. Thoughts (and pretty much everyone on social media) turn towards the changing of the seasons, it’s pretty mad how the weather can change in an instant, glorious sun one day can be replaced with cold and torrential rain the next. I used to be a Winter girl through and through and I would honestly dread those boiling hot days. Needless to say those times have changed and I find myself holding on to those last moments on sunshine will all my might. Before this becomes a full on weather post stop me before it does it’s time to address the elephant in the room. Every season it happens and whether we choose to do it or not, our daily routines get switched up to accommodate the change in the outside temperature.
The first thing that changes with the seasons is my lip routine. Lip routine sounds a bit overboard but as soon as a cooler chill fills the air, I find myself grasping for thick and moisturising lip balms to keep my chapped lips at bay. A new addition that has been gracing my lips recently is the Soap & Glory Smooch Operator Lip Balm*. Standard cute name in check this pinkish balm has been doing the rounds on our beauty stands for a while. The packaging has changed ever so slightly but it still contains Wild Mango Butter, Argan Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Sweet Almond, Rose Hip and Shea Butter to give your lips some intense TLC. A tiny bit goes a long way and it conditions my lips without leaving them feeling greasy. A must have for the cooler days to help keep your lips in check.
