Caudalie Beauty Elixir 30ml – £11.00
Caudalie Toning Lotion 200ml – £15.00
Caudalie Cleansing Water 200ml – £15.00
Apologies for the late night, dark, photo taking sesh I had with the above pictures! These products arrived midweek in the post and I just couldn’t wait until the weekend to get them into my usual set up before wanting to dive in and give them all a try, #bloggersproblems! I do however quite like the different set up and it makes a change from the standard coloured cover so let me know if you prefer this setup or my standard one =)
Anyways enough housekeeping, onto the good stuff! The other day I noticed that I had nearly run out my 30ml Caudalie Beauty Elixr, that my toner was dunzo and my bottle of Bioderma was close to follow. You know what this situation calls for, one thing and one thing only, a Feel Unique haul! I was tempted to buy the big bumper size bottle of the Beauty Elixr as I have really enjoyed using it and have found it to be a big help when my skin is acting up and playing the part of an angry teenager, however I was also on the lookout for a toner and micellar water (still not a fan of the Bioderma I’m afraid!) so went for the smaller size so I could buy more of the rest. My favourite micellar water still has to be the Darphin Azahar Cleansing Micellar Water (full review here) or the Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water with Roses and Green Tea (full review here – which annoyingly enough I can’t find anywhere to repurchase!) but I am constantly on the lookout for a slightly cheaper alternative. As I have been loving the Beauty Elixr I figured the Caudalie Micellar Water would be a good one to try next. It is a really refreshing and clean fragrance and so far does a pretty great job of removing all my makeup.
The other skincare essential that I had run out of was a toner. I never usually fuss too much with the toners I use and have been using up the last dregs from a few different brands. During my Feel Unique peruse and considering my moment of Caudalie obsession I thought I would give the toner a try too. It comes in a handy pump bottle that you can dispense onto a cotton wool pad and then glide all over your face to remove any last traces of makeup. What also sounded great about this product is that it captures 100 times it’s weight in water. This should therefore help to prevent my skin for getting dry in the Winter and inject that bit of moisture back in.
So far these Caudalie bits are still undergoing the beauty test but I will be reporting back with how they fair up!
