Well whaddya know, galavanting off on holiday again aren’t I, it’s alrite for some aye ;) After sharing with you my packing woes on Sunday’s post I figured today it would only be right to delve into my essentials and let you know those must have items that always get stowed away into my suitcase. Holidays are a chance for you to see what beauty products you really love as those items that get left behind are clearly not number one in your heart, something I need to constantly remind myself of ;) There are a select few products that I always reach for when it comes to holiday packing as I can rely on them to see my through a dry plane face, breakouts, sun burn and even puffy eyes.
The Boots Botanics Skin Calming Serum is a complete skin saver. It’s soothing and calming properties care for my skin whether it is suffering from a bout of dryness, if I’ve had too much sun exposure of just need a bit of TLC. I am almost at the end of my second bottle and I will be instantly repurchasing another one.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir aka the beauty water that actually works. This is a skin favourite back at home but really comes into it’s own when I’m on holiday. A spritz morning and night helps to reduce redness and keeps blemishes at bay. It’s also a fab product to keep in your hand luggage as the scent is calming and helps mask any other pesky plane smells you might be experiencing!
Origins VitaZing to keep you looking human at those early morning breakfast calls. I forgot to take this away with me on my last trip and I really missed it. A morning moisturiser with a hint of SPF and tint this gives a tad of colour and coverage to your skin without the need for foundation. Perfect when you are having a pool day or want to keep makeup to a minimum.
Clarins After Sun Moisturiser Self Tanner is a must have for those of you like me that burn easily. Although this isn’t the most soothing after sun on the market, it’s tinting properties keep me looking bronzed and sun kissed when I have been spending the day camped out in the shade. The colour is still super natural but helps to give the impression of a tan even when it may be faux.
Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray for when you do pop on a bit of makeup in the blistering heat. The last thing you want is to find your face slipping half way down your face, a few spritzes of this spray keeps everything in place whilst ensuring it stays looking natural throughout the day.
What are you must have holiday essentials? Any beauty products that get you through the warmer climates and relaxing pool days?
