Sprucing up the Home

Well look at me having a leisurely Monday morning – no blog post up and live at 7am and I may or may not be currently parading around the house in my pjs. Why I hear you ask? One reason and one reason only, Backstreet Boys. They are back baby and I couldn’t be happier. I saw them yesterday at British Summertime and oh wow. A tear quite possibly was shed at the sight of Nick Carter and my love for them has been reaffirmed. I just wish they would quit playing games with my heart ;) The only problem with listening to their back catalog whilst typing this post is that I keep getting distracted and find myself doing the boy band slide in the middle of my room. I know you would do it to!

Sadly todays post isn’t a dedication to my love for BSB, I was tempted though, as instead I have a few new homeware goodies to share with you. If you are an avid reader of Kate over at Gh0stparties like myself, then you too will have hot footed your way over the Debenhams sale and snapped up all their cute accessories for the home. Until I have a place to call my own I am limited with space but each of these items can be dotted around your room to add a hint of character and charm. All the pieces bar the dish are from Debenhams and the dark grey printed dish is from the wondrous H&M home.

The pineapple dish is a Kate favourite and I’ve seen the cute bunny duo pop up in a few of her posts. I picked up the faux single flower as after my orchid went from brown to dead I figured this was the way to go. It looks really delicate and doesn’t require you to remember it exists. The two birds are slightly larger however I love their prints. Placed together in a room or apart they add a bit of style to a former bland space and jazz up a white dressing table. I already have my eye on a few more bits to pick up I just need to make sure I have the space to pop them in my room! Have you headed over to the Debehams home section and snapped up anything for yourself?
