Well hello face, fancy seeing you here! Recently I’ve been playing around with some new and old makeup items in an attempt to switch up the norm and inject a bit of variety into my standard makeup look. On Saturday I went to a friends house for a new home/moving party and took a couple of snaparoos to share with you and show you the look I put together. This is heavier then anything I would wear day to day but still find it to be a natural and wearable evening look. Whenever I am putting together something for an event my focus is on a perfected base and highlighted eyes. To achieve a flawless finish (minus the cray chin breakouts that won’t do a runner) I used the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B30 Beige Sable with my trusty Nars Concealer and Nip & Fab Eye Fix. To keep things looking uber perfected I used my RT Setting Brush to concentrate my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder to the areas I needed it most.
I amped up the contour with my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow and finished this off with my Laura Mercier Blusher in Peach Whisper and a dusting of my much loved Stereo Rose blusher/highlighter. In terms of eyes I kept things neutral and smokey. I always start with a luminous inner corner highlight and then used my Urban Decay Beauty with an Edge palette and focused on the brown and taupe shades that I blended and buffed together. To finish things off I applied lashings of mascara and a slight cat eye flick curtsy of a new Eyeko eyeliner that will be appearing here on my blog very soon =) A couple of spritzes of my Urban Decay Setting spray to keep everything in place and a soft pinky lip and I was ready to go,
