Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, it is time for the anticipated L’Oreal Fibrology update. This week I have already raved over my love for the brands hair oils and serums but when it comes to shampoo and conditioners does my love fair the same? This highly anticipated launch hit many beauty magazines due to the brands twenty plus year research that resulted in this revolutionary haircare launch. Understandably as a fellow fine haired gal I was also in the eager beaver camp when it came to this launch. As soon as it hit the shelves I picked up the shampoo, conditioner and serum in the range and went right away to washing my hair waiting for the miracles to happen.
When it came to the results I found after use, I hate to say it but I was left mildly impressed. Maybe it was due to all the groundbreaking claims that came with the launch which meant I expected my hair to be transformed. Sadly however the after effect I experienced left little to be desired. Yes my hair felt a tad more bouncy but nothing more in comparison to the volumising styling tools that I adorn my hair with on a daily basis. After eight washes the amount of volume didn’t increase and each individual hair wasn’t boasting a sudden increase in oomph. Considering all the magical claims behind this brand I was left a little diss heartened. Maybe you do need to use every item in the range for the full effect to take place but so far this breakthrough in hair technology sadly hasn’t made a breakthrough with my fine hair.
