Clinique polishes are something I’ve never tried before. They look appealing yet when it comes to the laquer I choose to adorn to my nails, a certain Essie or Nails Inc brand comes up trumps. Although I happen to gravitate towards a more high street friendly option, Clinique have recently created a brilliant mini collection that gives you everything you need all within one handy and super friendly set. The following mini collection turned up at Christmas time and has been on my nails ever since. Made up of three colours in the shades Strappy Sandals, Black Honey and Polished Amethyst, this collection has pretty much every nail lover sorted. All housed within a friendly pouch, each nail polish is easily accessible and comes in a handy mini size which makes it perfect for porting around if you have a nail emergency or it means you can keep it in your luggage for any overnight weekends or holidays.
Black Honey is my personal favourite of the range, a deep and intense black/berry shade this looks gorgeous on it’s own or makes a wonderful addition underneath your fav glitter top coat. The remaining two shades are more of a ‘party’ option in my opinion with purple pearlescent shade and silver offering. All three work beautiful together or stand out individually on their own. They give a great opaque finish from a single top coat but a second helps to secure them in place for a couple of days longer. I love mini nail varnish sets as it means you can try out more at once. From the formulation to the colours themselves, they are a winner in my books. No doubt individual swatches will be up on the blog soon so you can see each shade up and personal in closer detail =)
