November Favourites

Here those jingling of the bells? That’s right folks Christmas is in the air! November can end up as  a bit of a filler month for me, what with my birthday residing in October and Christmas taking over December, November just sits in the middle looking slightly drab. The chill in the air picks up, the dark nights really settle in and everyone is on the countdown till the 1st of December. That being said November proved to be a busy old month with a fluttering of beauty bits that filled up the days. Time to get sharing!

Evon Winter Apple Candle* – I could have done a monthly favourites post filled entirely of candles as I’ve managed collect a fair few of them recently. However, instead of going completely overboard I restrained and whittled them down to this Christmas offering from Evon. Even when not being burned your room is encompassed with a warm and delicious wintery scent of cinnamon, nutmeg, warm vanilla and carmel. For a deep fragrance I don’t find this to be too overpowering and at the moment it is my go to candle pick.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir – Time and time again I go back to this beauty water and I am reminded of how darn good it is. Whether my skin is proving to be slightly problematic, needs perking up or just for a bit of added oomph, this ticks all the boxes. Now onto my second big bottle after going through multiple travel sized ones, I can see this being a staple for years to come.

Label M Thickening Cream* – A new addition into my haircare routine this thickening cream from Label M adds texture and volume to your tresses without weighing fine hair down. Part of the newly launched thickening range each product swells your hair to give it life and lift whilst also providing UV and heat protection. For the month of November this has been my go to styling product and I have been impressed with the amount of volume it can add to my hair.

Soap & Glory Sexy Motherpucker Gloss Stick in Nudist* – Part of the incredible Girl-O-Whirl Makeup Set I have fallen head over heels for this glossy lip offering. The perfect pinky nude I have been applying this morning and night to add a slick of colour to my lips that complements an everyday nude look or can be vamped up with a gloss for the evening.

L’Oreal Collection Privée Lipstick by Julianne – Another lipstick offering this also has been adorning my lips most days for the past month – sometimes blended over the Soap & Glory Gloss Stick mentioned above. This formula and colour was love at first swatch and was a shade I new I had to pick up. At a bargain price it’s hard to go wrong and the soft texture glides onto the lips to leave behind a soft pink shade that is ever so wearable.

Paul & Joe Eyeliner* – I am in love with an eyeliner. I never thought this day would roll into town but it has and I can’t see it changing anytime soon. Since moving to London I’ve seemed to pick up an eyeliner habit and have tried multiple brands and formulas to give me a quick lash line in the mornings. Something about this intense colour, ease of application and long lasting formula has Paul & Joe winning it across the board.

Clinique All About Eyes Rich – Long days and short nights has resulted in tired and dry eyes. Alongside my current eyeliner phase I’ve found my eyes are struggling to keep up. The extra makeup has resulted is dryer and more sensitive eyes and so to treat this I’ve been slathering on this rich eye cream from Clinqiue. Applied both night and day this keeps dryness at bay and looks after my sensitive eyes.
