When this month’s favourites post rolled into town I reflected back on the month of October and contemplated the sheer amount of ‘stuff’ I did. Birthday, moving from one city to another, holiday, moving offices – you name it, I pretty much did it. Although October marked a period of great change and adjustment I’m looking forward to November with the hope of calm and stability as I settle into my new surroundings. As always even along the utter mayhem my love of beauty has prevailed and I have a batch of blooming brilliant favourites to share with you.
Neom Real Happiness Candle* – This is my first Neom candle and I am already hooked. In my opinion this blows all the other luxury candles out of the water and is the best scented candle and best burn I have ever seen. With all natural and organic ingredients that gives you not only a deliciously scented room but aromatherapy benefits, every other brand can step aside and make room for Neom.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow – Making an appearance for the second month running!? It must be love ;) My ultimate contour and bronzing BFF at the moment this darker toned shade adds life to my face in the cooler seasons without looking muddy. The glow addition ups this palette to a stratosphere level and whether travelling, staying at a friends or just getting ready for work, this ticks all the boxes.
Institut Estederm Adaptasun Body Lotion – For a girl that burns within an instant of going out into the sun this scientific approach to sun care has been a literal life saviour. Although an investment, knowing I can lay out in the sun on holiday without risking my skin going bright red and sore makes this worth every penny to me.
YSL Youth Liberator Foundation – If you are looking for a foundation to take you through the changing of the seasons, that ups the coverage level without looking cakey all whilst giving your skin a flattering glow – your search ends here. Since picking up this foundation it has graced my face everyday and quickly winged it’s way into a top position in my heart.
Barry M Matte Nail Varnish in Vanilla* – After going sans nail varnish for longer then I care to admit to, this matte addition was a lovely ease back into the world of manicures. My first foray into the non shine category this polish has impressed from ever angle. From the coverage to the finish and even the wear time, Barry M are onto a winner here. Even with a touch of a glitter top coat this colour still looks stunning.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm – Balm cleansers – I have fallen back in love and this no fuss staple has stolen my heart. Perfect for those with sensitive skin this fragrance free cleanser melts all the grime, dirt and makeup away from your skin without leaving it feeling tight or dry. With a more purse friendly price point compared to other balm cleansers on the market, everyone needs to give this a try.
