Empties #2

empties_2

Look at me being a good little beauty blogger and actually using up the items that I have in my stash! Sometimes I can be rather fickle and more often then not I chop and change the products I use in my daily routine. It’s only when a real gem comes into my life that I stick with it and use it up till the last drop. These products have achieved such a status and can now be hailed as being empty *round of applause*

The Little Bubble Co Strawberry Sundae – My mum picked this up for me on a whim one weekend and I’ve been hooked ever since. Available for a bargainous price of £2.99 you get a whopping 500ml of sweet smelling shower gel. When it comes to shower products I’m not a fussy gal, as long as they lather up and smell good it’s a winner for me. This ticks all the boxes whilst having the most divine fragrance, available at Boots and even Waitrose it’s hard to resist.

Verdict – already repurchased!

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo – I picked this up a while back in a bid to combat the tiny bumps I had developed on my forehead. Since incorporating it into my skincare routine the bumps have vanished and my skin has cleared up. Initially used AM and PM I now reserve this for application in the mornings before I pop on my moisturiser. It has a very light consistency and is one of those stand out products from the last few months that have made a visible difference to my skin. I’ve written a full review of this treatment which you can read here.

 Verdict – already repurchased!

Percy & Reed No Oil Oil* – To combat frizz, flyaways and to inject some sleekness into my tresses  this oil has been perfect. As I naturally have very fine and straight hair I have to be careful with the products I use as they tend to end up weighing my hair down and making it more lifeless then it is naturally. This oil has the opposite effect and I’ve gone through a full sized bottle and two minis since first trying it out. A full review on this wonder oil can be read here.

Verdict – will repurchase once I’ve used up the hair oils that I currently have in my stash

Philip Kingsley Maximizer – It is well documented on this blog that I live by this volume spray, so much so that when I tried to forgo it one morning I had one of the worst hair days I can remember. There is something packed away inside this formula that manages to lift, volumise and inject a World of life into my hair. It gives my hair movement whilst still retaining body – soemthing I struggle to achieve. This is my third bottle of the stuff which goes to show how much me and my hair love it. Full review can be read here.

Verdict – purchased the Phytovolume Actif Spray instead to see how it compares
