Boots Botanics 100% Organic Facial Oil* | Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil* | Sanctuary Youth Boosting Facial Oil

Facial oils are a step of my skincare routine that I approach with caution. Being an oily skinned gal means that the process of plying oil onto my face each night seems somewhat counter productive. I used to think that putting oil onto skin would only make matters worse, whereas in fact the addition of a facial oil into your skincare routine actually helps to balance out the amount of oil that your skin produces. Smart aye! I used to solely save facial oils for the Winter but since the addition of the Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil into my skincare routine I have become hooked all year round. I am still careful not too put too much on my skin as I am conscious of breakouts, but the above three picks help to balance out my skin whilst ensuring no pesky spots rear their ugly heads.

Sanctuary Youth Boosting Facial Oil – this oil was recommended to me when I went to visit the Covent Garden Sanctuary Spa and had my skin analysed, areas of dehydration were spotted and this oil was recommended. It helps to replenish your skins own natural oil content whilst plumping the skin and offering lasting rejuvenation. Inside is packed full of pure oils, sunflower oil, jojoba and wheatgerm oil which all helps to rebuild and strengthen your skin. I prefer this oil in the Winter or when my skin needs a boost of life.

Botanics 100% Organic Facial Oil – this is a bargain beauty and means you can incorporate a brilliant facial oil into your skincare routine without breaking the bank. This is 100% organic so you know no nasties are hiding inside and it  offers hydration for up to 8 hours. This oil has helped to brighten my skin and either used alone or mixed with a moisturiser it never ends up feeling heavy on my skin.

Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil – my current go to pick and the fact I have a few tiny drops left brings tears to my eyes. This oil has got me officially hooked on facial oils and, although the most pricey, I have noticed the biggest difference since introducing this to my skincare routine. Since making this oil a daily addition my skin is more radiant  healthy and brighter. Not just that any scaring has reduced and spots have been kept at bay. If this had a lower price tag the full bottle would be purchased in an instant but I am going to try and be good and use up the other two first!

Are you a fan of facial oils? Which are your favourites to use?
