The other week I brought you a sneak peek inside my bedroom and shared with you what I use to organise my skincare and haircare products. You can read all about that over here but today I am bringing you inside my bathroom you lucky things :P My bathroom isn’t the most spacious place in the world, it does come with a decent size bath but there are no storage areas and the sink is miniature to say the least. To counteract the space issue one of the first things I bought for my flat was this wicker storage unit from Wilkos. It didn’t break the bank to get and it does the job perfectly. I have a small section of space behind my bath which is where this storage unit lives.
Inside these draws are home to all my skincare masks, treatments, hair care products and glamorous flannels. On the top of the unit is my toothbrush, mouthwash, razor and cleanser at the moment. Pictured is the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm but this has recently been switched out for Aurelia Miracle Cleanser*.The top draw of this four draw unit holds all my skincare goodies. After cleansing in the evening I rifle through this draw to select a mask, treatment or exfoliator to treat my skin to. From my weekly Liz Earle picks to my Origins Out of Trouble mask, Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator and REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask they all live here ready for me to apply in the evenings.
The second draw belongs to my glamorous flannels (bulk pack from Primark what more do you need) and then the third draw contains all my overflow/extras hair care products. The shampoos/treatments I am using at the moment live outside the unit on the edge of my bath, but anything I don’t reach for daily lives in this draw. At the moment my Percy & Reed Volumising Range* and Headmasters Blonde Moisture Range* live here alongside some conditioning treatments.
The bottom draw is the least interesting and stores my bathroom cleaning products. All my most reached for bath and hair items live on the edge of my bath and in an easy to grab location. I have my Soap and Glory Scrub ‘Em and Leave ‘Em Body Buff and the Foam Call Bath and Shower Wash. I also have a super sized Strawberry Sundae Shower Gel that smells utterly divine and makes the best bubbles. My current hair care picks are the Headmasters Miracle Repair Range*, Ojon Colour Sustain Pro* and Tresemme Platinum Strength Deep Conditioning Treatment that I am currently trying out.
It’s amazing how something so simple as a little storage unit can make such a difference in a small bathroom and add loads of extra places to store things away.
