Look at me embracing the pale and natural! These ‘What’s On My Face’ posts are really showing the 180 I have made with my makeup recently. Gone are the days of the thick and heavy foundations and instead I am reaching for not just BB Creams but CC Creams too! In this look I mixed both the Dr. Jart + BB Cream with the Nip & Fab CC Cream*. I find the CC Cream helps to balance out the redness in my cheeks whilst the Dr. Jart + gives me a bit of coverage and colour to my skin. Teamed with the Nip & Fab CC Eye Fix* (which I seriously am impressed by!) and my base is good to go. I have added the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder on top just to give that super flawless finish and zap away any shine that was trying to break through.
I am still addicted to contouring and blush but love the natural shadow that the Liz Earle Natural Glow Bronzer* gives. Then for my eyes I just popped a light dusting of MAC’s Ricepaper all over the lid and used Charcoal Brown (which is a lovely matte colour) blended out in the crease as it adds subtle definition to the eye. When keeping the eyes soft and natural you can play with a more defined and fuller lash which I have achieved with the L’Oreal Mega Volume Collagene Mascara. To complete the look and give it a bit more of a punch I applied the Ellis Fass Glazed Lips in L307 Sheer Deep Coral. Also, you will spy in the above product shot I have added a slight dusting of the Chanel Poudre Signee De Chanel Illuminating Powder (that I raved all about yesterday!) to my cheekbones. As you can see you can really play with how much you use and here I just have a very light dusting to give a soft shimmer.
Quick to do, natural finish whilst still enhancing certain features – perfection!
