Nuxe Reve de Miel Hand & Nail Cream | Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage | Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion* | Lierac Diopticalm – Anti Fatigue Soothing Balm
When it comes to skincare the majority of my essentials are happily housed in an easy to reach location in my room. Whatever my skin is craving, the fix is never far away. Because of this my bed side table is usually quite minimal in terms of beauty must haves and instead is home to a few key items that help me awaken in the morning looking refreshed and ready for the day ahead. Thanks to a little fluffy bunny that lives in my room (which I am 70% sure causes half of my allergy problems but I am in denial) I am often dealing with red and itchy eyes. To combat this I keep a number of cooling and soothing eye products by the side of my bed in case my allergies decide to flair up.
The most unglamorous addition, but the most necessary, are the eye drops. They stop my eyes from itching and help to keep any puffiness minimal, even if I am just rubbing my eyes from being tired I find that these help out a treat. My duo eye saviours are the Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage and the Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion. If ever I am struggling to wake up, am feeling a tag groggy or just need something cooling on my eyes, the Clinique roller-ball works like magic. It has the most cooling impact on my eyes and helps me to feel instantly awake. When paired with the Liz Earle Eyebright I am left looking wide eyes and bushy tailed now that’s an odd saying! My final saviour is the Lierac Diopticalm that I picked up in Paris. I pop this on at night to the bone area under my eyes, to ensure I don’t place it too high, and then leave it to works its wonders overnight. I haven’t notices the biggest difference when using this but it does help to disperse any particulary bad bags that decide to crop up when work decides to get in the way of sleep.
The final item on my bed side table in the Nuxe Handcream. A previous hater of all things hand cream this has changed my life, and my hands. I have gotten myself into quite the routine of applying this every night and if I go sans hand cream I am almost certain I wake up to drier hands. This soaks in quickly to the skin and doesn’t leave any nasty greasy residue. Also you may notice from the above photos my nifty colour changing candle! No fancy brand behind it just plain old Ambi Pur but as soon as the wick is list the colours starts changing. Not only that it also makes my room smell blooming bootiful!
So there you have it – nothing overly fancy but just enough staples in arms reach to help get my and my eyes through anything.
