Liz Earle Smoothing Line Serum – £14.25*
A smoothing line serum that visibly smoothes and firms – not exactly something every 25 year old out there needs to start reaching for every night and using religiously – granted. However, a mini sample came in the Liz Earle Advent Calendar and I got a little bit hooked! This little pot is something I’ve added into my nighttime routine as this oil-free serum helps to moisturise and plump up the skin around your eyes, lips, forehead and décolletage. I use this specifically for my eye area as if my bed side table is anything to go by it shows that I am paranoid about my eyes!
Whether it be bags, dark circles or now the onset of wrinkles that have me worried, the gentle skin around my eyes is something I always pay particular attention to. This isn’t because I have suddenly awoken with wrinkles (I dread the day that happens!) but thanks to allergies I am forever rubbing away and scratching at my eyes which I know does not a single bit of good for them. To balance out the bad I like to pop in a product like this from Liz Earle to try and firm up and give some TLC to the skin around my eyes. This serum contains glycerin to aid in hydration and also sodium hyaluronate (the same ingredient in the popular Hydraluron Moisturiser!) Since using this serum I have found that the skin around my eyes does seem more plum and less tired from where I have been scratching away at them. Not a complete necessity (yet!) but a great addition your eyes need some extra care.
