Anastasia are a brand I have heard about in regards to their Tinted Brow Gel. Used throughout Pixiwoo videos and coveted as a must have product within the industry (and one I still must get my hands on!) Anastasia is all about brows and some of the most famous celeb brows out there have been done by founder herself, Anastasia Soare. Although mainly a brow company, Anastasia does have a great range of products for your eyes that complements that desired expert brow.
The Covet Waterproof Eyeliner comes in 5 shades; Astral (pictured above), Azure, Steel, Vert and Noir, and is encased in a sleek plastic case with the shade colour at the bottom. These pencils can be twisted to access more product as opposed to needing a sharpen, which is always a pet peeve of mine as no matter what pencil or sharpener I use I always manage to make a mess or end up with a blunt pencil! These pencils are super soft to apply and the colour Astral is a coolish toned grey which makes a nice subtle difference compared to a black liner. These can be applied on the lash line, waterline or tightline without any scratching or pulling in sight. What’s brilliant about these eyeliners too is that when they say waterproof, they mean waterproof! These liners don’t budge so if you need something that will stick all day you know you can rely on these. Makes it a bit harder to remove at night but any good waterproof eye makeup remover will do the trick.
The Lash Genius is a product that you use on top of your mascara to make it water-resistant. It works as a top coat that is transparent and once applied it locks your mascara in place. I’m not a fan of wearing waterproof mascara so never have one to hand if I need it for a special occasion. What’s great about this Lash Genius is that it can be used over any mascara so you don’t need to have different types sitting in your makeup stash. Personally I wouldn’t reach for this product everyday and find it is more catered to someone who does makeup professionally and needs it in their kit, however if you have a special occasion or are going away and want to make your favourite water-resistant this little tube will do the trick!
