Bb. Texture Hair(un) Dressing Creme – £21.50*
If you have been looking to add texture, grit and a dash of volume to your hair then look no further! I have very fine hair and as soon as I wash it it becomes unmanageable, flies all over the place and refuses to maintain any style. I use my favourite volumising spray – the Philip Kingsley Maximizer (full review here) to give instant bounce and volume and then flit between using the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray (review here) and various texture powders to add that feeling of hold back into my hair. I don’t like my hair being squeaky clean as when it is, it’s a nightmare! So anything that adds that bit of unwashed feeling back into my tresses in a win for me.
This texture creme makes your hair look undone yet with a hint of shine and polish. The product comes out of a twist cap bottom and I use the smallest amount on my palm and work it into the roots and tips of my hair when wet. My only gripe about this product is that after use it leaves my hands sticky so I always have to rush off to the sink. That aside, this product is brilliant at doing exactly what it says on the bottle. My hair is more manageable, has a bit of hold back and feels a lot more textured. It doesn’t change the style of my hair (whereas the Surf Spray can make my hair sightly wavy) but it does give that unfinished beachy hair look and stops my hair from looking so poker straight and dull. I also find that this helps give my hair some shape after blow drying it. If you have fine hair or want that texture back this is a must. Bumble and Bumble have some brilliant styling products and this is just another one that has made it into my daily hair care routine.
