It’s been a while since I’ve done a NOTD on the blog especially an Essie one! Now Autumn is gearing up into full swing I wanted to quickly squeeze in a slightly summerly polish that I can see myself even wearing throughout winter as I just love it! Essie Lilacism is part of the Boot’s Essie diffusion range so you can pick it up for £7.99, big brush and all. I don’t know if it’s just me but I swear the diffusion range also lasts longer on your nails then standard Essie polishes. I applied Lilacism on a Saturday and it was still going pretty strong the following Thursday however, when I went back to Mint Candy Apply it only lasted a couple of days.
Lilacism is a stunning purple. I put off purchasing this for a while as I had far to many light purple lilac polishes in my wardrobe and I was determined that I owned a dupe. But somehow nothing would match up and one day when I came back from Italy (and just had to pick up Bikini So Teeny!) somehow this happened to fall into the shopping bag as well :P It really is the perfect pastel purple. It looks so stunning on the nails and I have found myself constantly reapplying it instead of reaching for a different colour! It goes so well with so many colours and gives a subtle but sweet pop to your nails. Even though I should be reaching for those deeper shades and warmer hues this always ends up back on my nails!
