Budget Beauty: Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser, Scrub and Mask

Have I mentioned recently that I’m a fan of a good old face mask? It’s something I have really gotten into recently and I have been enjoying giving my skin an added bit of TLC to keep it looking in tip top shape. One mask I was missing though was what I like to call the midweek mask. Something that is quick and easy to use yet does the trick and revitalises your skin during the middle of the week. This is where the Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser, Scrub and Mask* comes in. Aimed to help regulate your complexion this product is targeted to be an all in one solution for oily skin.  The Normaderm range is a range by Vichy specifically for skin that is prone to blemishes or imperfections and this new 3 in 1 addition is formulated to be paraben free, soap free and also alcohol free meaning it is great for even sensitive skin. Onto the ever so attractive ‘dollop’ photo on yes my friends, a tanned hand! (thank you Italy thank you!)


As you can see this is a off-whiteish cream that contains bluey beads which gives it an almost gritty feeling. This beads give the product it’s scrub element and there is also clay elements to act for the cleansing bit. When used as a cleanser this product lathers up on the face and when washed away this leaves the skin looking clear and clean. For a scrub as opposed to layering the product onto the skin and washing it off, you work the product around the skin in circular motions to help remove any dead skin cells. For the mask feature pop the product onto your skin, leave it for 5 minutes and wash it away. Usually I am not a fan of 2 in 1 or combo products as I am always wary whether it will actually do the job well, this one I can report does what it says on the tin! My favourite way to use this product is as a mask on a Wednesday night for the perfect midweek treat! As I have an exfoliator and cleanser on the go at the moment I mainly use this for a mask but now my REN Clearcalm3 Anti-Blemish Clay Cleanser* (review here) is almost finished the cleanser part of this product will be put more into use! Considering before I was very sceptical and didn’t think a 3-1 product would be able to work on all 3 counts, this has proved me wrong!
