i finally have an oil in my life and in my daily skincare routine! with someone who has oily/combination skin the thought of putting oil on my face seemed like utter madness. why when your face is oily would you want to add more oil?! well thats exactly the point! if you have oily skin using a face oil means that your skin will produce less oil. as it thinks there isn’t enough it overproduces oil so by adding more oil the oil production will slow down. after spending an afternoon recently at the covent garden sanctuary spa and being recommended this i knew i had to give it a try.this oil helps to replenish your skins own natural oil content and provides plumping and lasting rejuvenation. it contains a mixture of pure oils, sunflower, jojoba and wheatgerm oil (which is a good source of vitamin e). there is also rosehip oil that helps to rebuild and strengthen your skin whilst the inclusion of rose and frankincense soothes and calms your skin to give a dewy-soft radiant finish.
i dispense 2-3 drops of this oil onto my hand each night and then pat the oil into my skin. i have been using this for almost two weeks now and i love it. i never knew i would end up loving an oil so much but it provides my skin with the hydration it was lacking and needed. my only problem with this oil is that i hate the smell. some people might like it but i think the rose or one of the oils in it does not sit well with my nose! even though i cant stand the smell i still use it everyday which shows just how much i really like the product.
this oil costs £17.35 for 30ml but considering you only need 2/3 drops a night it will last you a long time! have you tried facial oils in your skincare routine?
