as i have aptly named 2012 the year of the hair (well my hair :P) i have enjoyed trying out some new products to treat, tame and style my mane. i have also been trying to move away from the fear of having my hair straight. from being a person that has naturally straight hair i am trying to embrace the straightness! although this is my new quest in life i am not a fan of the flat dead hair look so i still look towards products to give my hair some life especially when it has just been washed.
my new favourite is the label.m resurrection style dust. this is very similar to the vo5 instant oomph powder and is a styling powder that helps to add instant oomph, volume and texture to your hair. this white powder helps your hair to hold a style especially if you have newly washed hair. i use this after i have washed and dried my hair and pop some on the roots by layering my hair into sections and shaking the bottle directly at the roots. i then rub the product into my hair with my fingers and i’m good to go.
what i like about this product it that it doesnt make your hair feel as dirty or matted together as the vo5 instant oomph powder, yet it gives a pretty similar effect. its harder to concentrate where the product is applied as the pot and lid are bigger so i find that i use the resurrection dust all over my head and then the instant oomph powder for my fringe.

overal this has become a staple in my ‘i dont want flat dead hair’ routine! an added plus is that it is sulphate, paraben and sodium chloride free!
