the accent nail has been doing the rounds for a while now. either painting your ring finger a darker shade or a different colour or now that christmas is well and truly round the corner (6 sleeps!) it is also a great way of adding a bit of glitter (especially if work disapprove of 10 fingers of sparkle!)
to achieve mine i used essie in sand tropez and models own pink fizz
i picked up sand tropez in liberty after having a bit of an essie attack when i was last in london (two in one go!) but to be fair i was searching high and low for sand tropez when i was away but sadly could not find it. i also needed an excuse to use pink fizz as apart from on my toes it hasn’t had an outing!
i love the finished effect. i think sand tropez is one of the most beautiful sandy nude colours that for a colour that doesn’t pack much punch, always catches my eye when im wearing it. the addition of pink fizz on the ring finger adds a bit of festive sparkle without being too ott. i didn’t layer sand tropez under pink fizz as i thought it would be too much and wasn’t sure how to the two colours would look together. overall i love the look of the accent glitter nail!
